Pleae appraise DollarsBlog.com

I've had DollarsBlog.com since Nov 06. It gets a modest amount of traffic(nothing too big) and rank in search engines(just a PR2). I think the domain name is worth a lot of money mainly because of it being short easy to remember and has brand value and its been an active site for more than a year and half. Im curious to know what others think its worth? I had someone offer me 5000 for it(I think it will be worth more someday so im not selling it for that).

 

5000 USD without development was gud price to sell that for.

However, if you hold, definately worth more in the future.

5000 dollars is chump change, this domain means a lot more than that to me. The longer I wait, the more precious my domain becomes as the domain market gets more and more saturated. Im not in a hurry to sell it, if it takes 10 or 20 years to get a good offer so be it.

 

According to me, it costs liked $1.517 - $2.384! your traffic is good indeed ( within 1.216 and 1.824).

 

I would value the domain name itself at $xxx.

That is unbelievable if true. Then surely DollarsBlog could be worth 10% of that in the future, considering blogs are so hot these days. I will definitely hold on for many years and wait for the right offer. Actually Im pretty sentimental about this site in particular because its my first real website. So I would not part with it easily.

 

Traffic is around 1500 Unique visitors a month at the moment. Sometimes its higher approaching 2000. I could do better if I wanted to work at it.

What is the appeal of Dollars and DollarsBlog? Maybe I'm missing something, but neither sound like they would be that valuable.

 

Dollars = name of currency of money in U.S, canada, and some other countries. Therefore it symbolizes wealth.

 

Thats because dollars has a high search volume. Dollars blog has almost no search volume. Personally, I would not pay more than $1000 for this domain and even that is generous IMO.

I can imagine Dollars.com would be worth a lot because it is a single word domain. But...not $700,000.
DollarsBlog, I would also guess less than $1000. I still don't see why it would be worth more than $50?

 

All that matters is what some people are willing to buy it for, the internet is getting saturated so there is always someone desperate to get a short good name ...

 

$5000 would have been a great price... for me a as a reseller maybe $100

 

I usually make a lot more than that per week off the site already. Get real......
