I have been using CNN stock market portfolio now for awhile and I was wondering if anyone else has ever tried it? I think it's pretty cool you get to purchase stocks and sell, hold short, medium and long etc.. The data is all real time and the idea like always is to maintain a positive float. I have been running the Portfolio now for about 2 years and actually stopped for about 6-8 months while I was finishing up College. I was still Green tho and had a surplus. Just wish I would have sold the dam retail stocks :p HAHA

One pretty cool feature I use a lot was the Alert system and it's actually all set up with your msn messenger or your mobile device. You enter a tickers tor symbol that you want to watch and set the perimeters. Perimeters include sending you a notification if the Stock drops or rises a certain % or amount and or any drastic news is released at CNN relating to your stocks. Here I won't ranter anymore but I wanted to share as I think it's an awesome past time :)

Here's some screen shots of the services you get for a registered account.

So you actually play stocks in real life? I'm not too sure if I would do that but judging from my portfolio I probably could and also do really well at it :)
