Playing Google Video Ads?

I searched for this but couldn't find an answer. I just noticed I have a video ad on a page of my site. It was a 2.35 click, which got me excited. I went to the page and clicked to play the ad. Is this against TOS, or only if you click it to go to the site?

    Anyone?

You should never, ever click your own ads. Just don't. And a video ad? I've never seen those before. Have you got a screenshot?

As long as you don't click to VISIT THE URL (i.e. open the advertiser's landing page) it's okay, you haven't initiated a click. A click is counted when, during play, you click on the video and it takes you to the advertiser's page, or you click on the advertiser's URL link.

You can refer it here : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=23238 regarding on click on own ads and whether it is against TOS, and remember this ... .. never, never, never try to click on your own ads. Not just adsense, same goes to others that you join. The longer you stay in DP forums, the more you'll learn from members regarding adsense guides.

As jackburton2006 mentioned, if you are curious about some ads, you can write the url link, and try visit the url on another IE page or Firefox Tabs.

Yes, I know that you can not click your own ads. I am not new to this, I am however new to the video ads, as most of us are. I did not think that clicking the "play" button would result in a counted click, but wasn't sure.

thanks jackburton2006 for reading my post and answering my question, rep added.

    rock.
