playboyproxy.com 7,000 hits in first 4 days

Registered it on the 14th, immediately started putting it together.

I know the link setup at the bottom is ugly and unorganized but I'm not sure what to do with it. Not generating any money yet but I feel it has to do with only one ad placement(again, don't know how/what to do)

Only thing done so far to get it out there is link exchange/url subits with the links at the bottom

What do you guys think? I plan to sell this in the next few months



edit-low numbers on the 15th due to my hosting. Site was down majority of the day. Was down for 4+ hours yesterday as well

Web proxies follow trends however a good idea.
Low $XX as it's easy to remember.

 

i dont think that you can get too much,'playboy' is a trademark..

Doesn't really matter =/ The first part of the domain is playboy... so you might have tm issues.

 

Why did you decide to use Playboy in the domain?

I don't think you'll have too big TM problems, as long as you stay under the radar - I've seen Google Proxy, Facebook Proxy, Coca Cola Proxy amongst others.

As for the traffic you should be making at least a little amount of money with that amount

Just with the one ad setup? It was coded weird and won't allow stretch to add others. At least I don't know how to make it do so.

It's a great proxy name. I really don't see me having any problems with it

 

I think it will worth a lot since the name is so easy to remember , Keep it at least for 1 year..

 

On its own the name is worth reg fee, keep working on the site and traffic and it might get you some money on sale.

 

You'll have TM Issues when Playboy finds out. Used to manage their portfolio of domains and can speak first hand that when they find any domain that has 'playboy' in it, they'll go after it.
