Play Poker Online - Is this term realistically Top 10 achievable?

If you have not achieved a keyword that is around half the power of this one then don't bother. You'll spend years trying to get it. All of your competitors are spending at least $10,000 per month on seo with possibly 10's of employee's ensuring that no one will break above them. I personally think you'd have a hard time getting past page 4.

I've got sites that are doing extremely well, but I would be hired to try to get this keyword for $50,000. Its near impossible.
Its like saying you want to compete with walmart and you don't even own as much as a hotdog stand yet.

I can almost smell the deceit come from your words. The worst site on the front page has an obvious gross above $80,000 per month.

Seriously, if its easy for you then I've got a job for you. contact me and I'll tell you the keyword I'm fighting for and you can get me there in 3 months. I'll pay you $5,000.

Why stop there. How about anyone can learn to fly............Listen, being positive is a horrible business skill if it isn't realistic

But he publically said he is willing to put $1k in escrow as a reward if he doesn't get on the first page.

Well before I dispell what bank claims is possible I would be willing to hear what his proposed method of achieving 1st page ranking for Play Poker Online within 3 months.

I would assume many of us have sites in which we would LOVe to achieve a very difficult keyword. If we could come up with the best ideas on how to do so, we could start posting some success stories here on the forum.

I'm no newcomer to this, I've been developing sites since late 1999 and have 5 years in SEO, but I am still a student and willing to learn from ANYONE who has input. I value everyone's opinion here.

I'd like to know what the toughest keyword everyone here has ever achieved and what method they used to do so.

 

Let's mark April 2nd as the start date and I'm going to see how high of a SERP ranking I can achieve for my site. It's not top 1000. What do you guys think would be an achievable ranking in 3 months? I am betting I can achieve Page 3 or higher by July 2nd.

Thoughts?

 

if you put in the hours and find the gold then it will just keep rolling in if you can rank up. I think its a 70/30 gamble in favour of failing. but there is that 30 so I would stick out with it

 

Anything is achievable but you must look at the quality of the top ranking sites. look at the content, interactive features, amount of good content and analyse the quality backlinks. If you can meet or match the quality of the sites you are competing against then you have a good chance. However, like most previous posters have said there are a lot of big time online poker sites already competing for the keywords you specified so cutting in as a middle man would be very costly unless you have a genius/pricey marketing strategy.

I definetely have a phased approach to the growth of the site. At the moment my conversions are absolutely outstanding so I'm happy with its performance. The site will grow in the future and I still believe Page 3 or better is achievable in 3 months. At the moment the site is not ranked at all so it can only move upward.

Are you guys currently trying to rank for any highly competitive keywords?
