I was watching t.v. Plastic surgery gone bad. It was really disturbing as I may say. If you have the money will you go under the knife just because you don't feel confident about yourself? Here's a link of celebs who's surgery went to a horrible result. http://awfulplasticsurgery.com/

Those images are really disturbing. I would not go under the knife even if they pay me.

That site definitely scares me... I think the clinics need to take more responsibility on their "clients" as some of them have psychological disorders about their image.s. or obsessions/addictions to plastic surgeries. Ever seen shows like 20/20 that cover this stuff? Its scarey..

I can't just go past this post.... haha

ok. My opinion? When people are just having plastic surgery because they want to look younger, or don't like the shape of their nose I think there could be problems.

I am coming from a different perspective. I recently had my boobs done. It's not how it sounds...

Last year I had a mastectomy, due to breast cancer - and this year had to have the other one removed. I am 30 years old, and am not going to go through the rest of my life breastless, so I had plastic surgery.

I have had conflicting comments, and plenty of people who tried to scare me out of it with scary pics and horror stories - but to them I say I got to go shopping last week. I could buy a bathing suit without worrying about my prosthesis falling out. I was able to go swimming for the first time in over a year - and it felt GREAT!

So... just be careful about having black and white opinions - 'cause there are always exceptions ;)

Plastic surgery in various form should never be attempted. They are not only expensive but in the later run you have to deal with the consequences. People dont realise this in the initial stage.

I think in 100 years, the human race will look back in horror at what we're doing with cosmetic and dental surgery today.

Although... my ex-gf's mum had (minor) cosmetic surgery, and she was hot.:D

I don't mind boob-jobs, but it's facial plastic surgery which really scares me. It can look ok, short term, but a few years after the bill has been paid, faces start to look bad. Operated faces just do not age well at all! I'm thinking, in particular, of a recent trip to Las Vegas, where badly aged ex-plastic faces are everywhere.....Don't do it to yourself!

There is a failure rate of approx 1% for surgeries in general, including cosmetic surgery.

The site is geared to create a shock (awfulplasticsurgery.com). Authenticity is doubtful. Most of the after pictures could have been 'before' pictures.
