Well, Title cleared everything. I had a office before 3 months around but due tot he problem with partner I left it already and currently I am providing SEO service here in DP.But now I want to start a company alone related to programming. I don't want to post in freelancing website everytime and bid for the service but instead of that I am looking for some long term contracts. But I won't get it locally as internet is not trusted here nicely as in first world countries as well people don't want to pay for websites so, there is no profit for starting a company for local service. So, I want to get projects from international. I am planning to provide these service in programming languages:- PHP MySQL .NET jscript XML Graphic designing The wages here is too low than any one can imagine. So, the price will be too low.But I have some questions regarding this: *Where to get long term contracts as I am not programmer and don't have portfolio for programming? *How to take fees (per project or per hour)? And some suggestions from you. If I get any other question then I will surely ask here. Thanx in advance.
check these for international level works elance.com kijiji.com I am sure you will find some good freelancing work here.. once you have a profile then getting long term projects won't be a tough job
my honest 100% advice: If you have no programming experience yourself- don't do it. You need to start off by yourself, earn a reputation, and then build a team
I guess he has programming experience as he has mentioned that he used to work with a frnd but later on left that... why would someone start a company about which he knows nothing
use to do this and employ people to do it for me alot of work and not much pay for me so good luck and lets hope you do well but there is alot of competition so i suggest you look locally rather than the internet and make sure you have good prices
Make sure you know about programming lanuages. It took me a few years to understand PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Postgres. You'd be surprised whta kind of problems you run into when learning. experience is everything: programmers, designers, milfs LOL. but if you know what your doing, go for it, sounds like a great idea.
i disagree with your guys ... getting the job is the key if u r good at that u got a chance ... can u get jobs ... ? can u keep costumers happy >? if yes u can hire experts when u need them but if u have expertise and no buyers get a job
Actually, I am not a expert programmer but have experience of managing a programming company where I used to manage the company and single guy working for SEO and internet marketing jobs.I can contact those all experts for me although they will be little bit expensive than the programmers that I said in OP. I am not expert programmer myself but able to understand written PHP language and can know the quality of coded language .As well, I can myself install, create simple mods in PHP/MySQL but without professional experience. But as I have googd experience before in magaing those works.I think I can handle the work but don't know how to get long term works as before also I got dispute with my partner (I was 50% partner where I was manager) due to short term works.
I work for a programming company where the boss doesn't know a thing. If you want to start a programming company, all you need to do is partner with a good programmer.
I work part time in a programming company that focues on the business sector. They have made their money from making progress applications for trust and fund administration compaines all over the world. The original development too well over 2 years, but just a copy of this now sells for well over £400,000. They also have just finished a £2,000,000 contract with the local goverment for a similar system. Generally on this type of project you will quote for the whole thing and not hours, although you will have to give some indication of how many hours are included and what kind of support will be offered. I would certainly look at business applications both custom and off the shelf, they pay far higher than others. Best of luck in the future. Regards, Tom
Have you taken a look at www.odesk.com ? Seems to be lots of providers and very few jobs. Some people seem prepared to work for very low rates. EDIT: Sorry my mistake, You are looking for work not employees?
