    wld love to get this tool if it does the following;

    1. enter in your own website details i.e. name, description, keywords, etc
    2. allows multiple own websites
    3. enter in target directories to submit
    4. press enter
    5. submission to all entered directories for all your own websites done!

    I will try!
yes, this has got to be! i mean you need to put those field for every site that you submit!
sure, i mean i myself has tons of sites.

you mean coustomised lists, some one previously pointed out this, it is possible, but then the budget will go a bit up! anyways we will try to put this as well, if the budgets hold, perhaps multiple lists could also be possible! i mean a niche directory list is also a good option!

 if you mean manual, then press enter, as auto will go from one directory to another automatically!

this point is also not too clear! i guess you mean to say is, everything automatically done! i was even further planning to generate a .txt or .xls submission report as well!:)

on the blog, site funda, in an above post, i have given the details of the project with expected price, it all deponds on that!
let's hope we can make everything going!:)

i think there are a few tools like this around, not sure if all are in the browser
But just take care of one thing, if you do the automatic one to the directories that don't ask for captch, they will be spammed soon and they will put captcha or close submissions or something.
If you do it, i would sincerely suggest that you don't make anything automatic, however good your intentions are, the tool won't be used only for good.

I think you need to add something to the tool that is unique because there are many similar tools atm.

i know! but then if someone misuse it, we will limit that member or something! but then everything is misused, and it is impossible to stop! may be 1-2 auto submission per day, or something will be nice! let's see what happens!

there is no good tools arround! atleast nothing free and browser based! i mean i have not got any that will automatically submit sites after sites easily!

Wow, new free tool is coming!
Hope that you'll change the people saying "Manual is only way to go" :D .

Seriously, I am dropping in, not for promotion our tool (some people may think that), but want to give to OP some of our experiences:

    1. You can't expect much money from donations for free tool. We ran our tool for free for 2 months and got $20USD donation totally. So, we have to change: we still offer good free service, but offer some advanced service for paid users.

    2. Making the tool is short-time matter only, so you can invest. But maintenance of the tool and directory list requires a lot of time. One of our guy works full time on directory list maintenance and he is very busy every day. So you have to expect some daily maintenance expense also.

    3. I'm agree with some guys here: Don't make it fully automated. If you make fully automated and give it free, you'll kill free directories very soon.

Just my opinions. Hope that they help you choosing right direction.

    Good luck with your project.
    Regards.

I've heard good things about Digixmas, and have been looking for a tool like this that will work on a Mac. If you develop a mac-compatible platform (system 10.4, G4 PPC, you can count on at least $10 from me. PM me if you get it.

    I agree,
After the software is finnished is would be nice that users can make their own list of directories (country/category specific submit lists). Also an inport/export function of urls so people/community can post their (country specific) list for public use. I recommend myself for making a dutch directory list!

btw, i use directory submitter, its a free tool and you can submit also your own dir's as well. The only problems is that this software is for english language so it has problems to find the right input fields in dutch.
