Placing Google Adds Banner next to Google Adds Text?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by HydroJohn, Jul 1, 2009.

I know some of the older webmasters will know how well placing an AdSense block used to pictures used to work till it got banned, now Google AdSense lets us select either banner, text or banner & text adds. Is it ok to make one banner add and then one text add and place them next to each other?

    Many Thanks :D

    hmmm... nice trick :)
I think it should be alright, because the image ad is served by google, you don't place the image yourself.
Anyway, i'm not sure about this. can anyone share?

yeah it may not be illegal as you are not using your own image to distract the user.

You are using 4 adsense units on a single page?

Well, you should use only 3 units on a page as said by Google.

    yes u half right .....
3 ad and 3 link ad allow, so total 6 ad allow in one page :)
if u have more then 3 ad, extra ad won't appear :)

It is absolutely fine with google to do this. All of my sites use this technique and it works very well.

Take the largest block ad and have the text on the left and the image ad on the right and you'll be glad you did.

It should be fine until your image says click on these ads.
