Placing adsense on a affiliate site

I would like to hear everybody's thoughts on placing adsense on a page where you are trying to sell your affiliates products.

Im trying to figure out whether it will be counter productive as our main aim is to keep customers on our pages so we can sell them our products, not give them the easy way out to buy something else.

However if they may be exiting your page anyway so why not let them make you a few bucks on their way out.

Does anyone else have any thoughts about this?

Dont give surfers an out so you can make a few pennies.....that is just silly.

 

I agree, what would you rather make, adsense pennies or affiliate commissions?

It may be OK to put adsense near the bottom or in the footer of the page. Those who have scrolled down and are not interested in the product may leave your site clicking one of the ads. Just my opinion..

 

If I were you,I would not put adsense on the site.

 

affiliates earning too much then us, use heat map and try to put adsense where people don't wanna click on affiliates ! like i think footer place....
