Thanks for your reply aramiK, I was actually wondering if there was a more advanced way of implementing adsense that will allow me to modify and choose to my liking:

    - the type of ads inserted
    - to who they are shown (ie what usergroups)
    - where the ads are inserted (after x posts, random, etc.)

    Any ideas?

You will have to edit the templates from your admincp. Use conditios for usegroups or after x posts. Also, use multiple palettes for adsense in vbulletin topics. A better idea would be to use larger sizes for guests and smaller for members.

Best places to put ads are in the navigation bar and after or before the first post of a thread. Ad links are also a good idea, try putting them after the last post so visitors have somewhere else to go when theyre done reading.
