Placing Adsense ads on someoene else's site.

I saw something that ShoeMoney stated about losing your Adsense account for certain adsense violations and complaints So, it dawned on me that my idea might be short lived.

I've created a new site. The idea behind it is to let others post their Google Adsense ads on the site. I'll place my ads next to their ads. So, if someone makes a great post, article, whatever, both of us get visibility. Hopefully, it's a win/win.

So, here's my question? Am I just looking to be abused by spam, etc? In other words, is the idea short lived to the point that I'll lose my Adsense account, etc?

Background: I checked the google forums and didn't see where this violated anything as long as people followed the Google Terms of Service. From what I can tell, many were concerned that adsense violations would in some way affect their account. No one seems to know a direct answer, but I would assume it would only affect theirs.

Any insight would be great! I'd hate to put a ton of effort into something that would be shut down in a couple of days.

Thanks in advance. Site is jahbs.com (sorry, my account is still a peon, no live links yet)

Last time I knew, you could only have the adsense adverts of a single account on a specific page. You couldn't combine them. Last time it came up here, there was some discussion about if the adsense AUP allowed it or not as you note.

    I wouldn't do it.

Not sure. I've got them running now through test modes. So far, nothing is being blocked. I'll do some more research in that area. Thanks for the feedback

I am very reluctant to have my adsense code appear on a website where I have no or little control over the content. A couple of years ago a DP member offered to set up a subdomain on his site that had just my adsense code on it. The idea was that by my promoting the subdomain it would help his main domain. Maybe it did, but I soon decided it pushed my comfort zone too far having my code on his site.

Eventually, the experiment was ended - the site went offline and truthfully I was glad.

While it is nice to share - and this maybe a good idea -emotionally, I learned that this concept was not for me.

I suggest you work on getting your own adsense code, alone, being clicked through good content and seo, etc.

Interesting. I hadn't thought about that perspective.
