    Is it possible to get validated when you only place ads on specific pages? For example, say I only wanted to run the ads in a certain section of a site, or on a links/resources page or something of that sort. I understand your weight is better if you're showing the ads on as many pages as possible, but I've got some situations where it's not appropriate to put these types of ads on the home page and all content pages.

    You can select an individual directory in the site and only have the ads there. Just have to make sure your site info is pointed to that directory so it validates correctly.
