placing adds on phpbb forum????

how do I place adds from an affiliate to my phpbb forum?

I'd like to place so advertisement on my forum to try to earn some money, but I dont know how.

I found this result in Google , take a look :

These are the two basic files you need to find & edit

overall_header.html and overall_footer.html

Don't forget to "Purge The Cache" after editing these files, otherwise the changes will not work.

 

to do what? I dont get it? purge the cache

 

Whenever you edit those 2 files system will not read them until you clear the cache.

There is button in PhpBB Admin panel "Purge The Cache" that will clear your cache.

my affiliate banner doesnt display


the banner shows up on my forum header , all you see is a white box with a broken page icon in it. when you click the like works , so thats good.

but how do I get the banner to display ?

oh another question is there a way to rotate your banner adds.... like not always the same ones on the header?

 

i have a mod to display banners on forums and rotate them , you can define banner place and time it expires or number of views for it
if you have your forum host cpanel info i can help you in installing it and managing it

 

you can install some ppc ad like (Adsence and infolinks) as in my forum. If you are intrested, I can mail you the steps to integrate.
