    People are focusing more on content, so rather than putting them there, you might consider a script that puts a post at the end of the threads with your adsense ads. You'll gain more exposure this way.

    Don't ask me the name of the script because I don't know it...I've just seen this type of ads on a forum and seemed interesting.

    What do you mean the adverts aren't there? I'm sure I added them? Maybe to the wrong Template?

    Yes, they're not there, below the logo as you described, I thought you were thinking of putting it there and asked beforehand.
    Now I see them, I'd say it's fine.
    Simply ask adsense team if you want to be sure, you ask them to review your page for tos compliance, if they have time they'll say it's fine.
