Does anyone happen to know if a tool, site or anything that will tell you what the avg CPC or ballpark CPC is for targeting a site via placement targeting?

Example if I want to target xyz.com how can I figure out what the CPC should be?

Please do not give the obvious answer of just put what you can afford or just try anything. I already understand this method.

I looking for a more define method of CPC or even CPM evaluation method for placement (site) targeting.

If you have had content match ads appear on that page, you run a placement performance report and see what CPC was sufficient for you ads to appear there.

the whole point is I have not placed an ad or had a content ad show. Example, today I want to placement target entrepreneur.com. How much do I bid? 0.10 or $10 CPC? We don't know, thus the need for a CPC or CPM estimator tool.

Yes, very good question and I want to get an estimation tool for targeting too. For the moment it seems that google is not predictable with site targeting :)

    site targeting = placement targeting

Google no longer uses the term site targeting
