Placement advice on my travel and lifestyle blog

Hello! New to adding ads to blogs in general, I was hoping I could get some advice on placement or even just general advice on how to bring in a bit of extra money from the site I have been working on.

My webpage/blog is at cuteinkorea(dot)com. I started the site up this March and currently I get about 2,000 hits a day and update maybe once a day or every 3 days at worst. every month my traffic is growing (seems to be a 10,000 hit jump per month) so I figured now would be a good time to try a little ad placement to make back the costs of the site.... is it still too early and not worth it just yet? I am pretty much a culture, tourism, and lifestyle blog I suppose... so my search engine traffic comes from a few areas. Am I the wrong sort of site for this sort of ad account to even be worthwhile?

I am so worried about making the site visually unpleasing with ads so I am not sure where to stick a few that will not annoy my readers. Right now I have one on the right and one at the very bottom...is putting one at the bottom like that even worth it? Thank you so much for your time :) any thoughts on what I can do to fix this up a bit would be greatly appreciated.

Your both ads are way down, where no one will even see it. ;) Better put that right side bar ad way up at the beginning. If not text, you can always use image ads to mix up well since I see many images in your site in sidebar. And since you don't want much ads, just try with what I suggested. Or you can also remove the ad from the very bottom.
Use one image at the top in sidebar and another text in between(but not at the end like current ad) somewhere on the sidebar.

As you are getting 2000 hits daily so there would really be good money from Adsense, you should try to earn from Adsense, it is the right time.

As OP said that the Adsense ads are down so you need to correct that.

    1. Add big square ads between posts
    2. Get rid of the 468*60 ad, it's useless and no one clicks on it
    3. Add links unit under the menu (colour blend, of course)

    Good luck!
