Hello... I am wondering about the typical pixel dimensions for a website, lets say I wanted to have a portion of "white space" or one large clickable image be viewable when visitors access the page, but I dont want them to have to scroll to far up or down... just blam!... white space in yo' face... (lol)....

kind of like an online billboard..that is right in your face when you click on a link. what would be the best pixel dimensions for that?

    Thanks a bunch!!

It's kind of hard to guess an exact page height, not only because of the screen resolution differences but also because there are the bookmarks, webmaster tools, and lots of other possible horizontal browser toolbars as well as a multi-line taskbar like in my case. So it can be a ~500px or a ~1000px height to consider if you wish to "cover all the white space with content" and avoid the scrollbars..
