    I am not getting my hopes up. I have yet to see any of the tell tale messages on my account that forewarn of an incoming PIP. ;)

    At least for US Publishers, there is always the wait until we start seeing pip cascade from the far east. My guess is tomorrow (but hey, pip me today baby! Daddy needs a bottle of Grey Goose!)

    It's weird - last month I got my payment issued on the 22nd and this month it hasn't been issued yet.


    By the way, why do you guys call it PIP (payment in progress) - that's after the cheque got shipped right?

    I have been with AdSense more than a year, and I still do not ACTUALLY knows what the Payment in Progress is all about.

    People always have contradictory opinion on this. Some people says, the payment has been issued and your check is on its way.

    Some people says that your check is being printed and dispatched soon. -(I guess this one is right)

    But can anyone tell once you have PIP in your account, Are you safe from not getting a ban, the current month?

    The way I understood it is that PIP means (with EFT) that google has started the transaction with the bank (and with other methods it has released the cash to the payroll system to have checks printed, etc.)

    Once the transfer is complete the bank (or payroll system such as WU) will send an Ack to google saying they have the cash (or have printed the check) and the payment link will be added to your account.

    Ok...the messages are now basically saying that google is rolling out the cash. Should see PIP between now and 5 PM PT tomorrow.
