Pinterest any good for SEO?

I have been seeing some Pinterest posts and boards ranking on the first page for some search terms. Has anyone here tried to use Pinterest for SEO rankings?

 

I am using Pinterest as a promotion channel specially when promoting site has unique images. It also helps to invite new visitors but I did not use it to increase ranking. Recently, Google started to show social profile link as well in search results.

 

I don't think so. Pinterest post is not relevant to SEO. Period.

 

Like most of the social networds, pinterest also doesn't have anything to do with SEO of a website, it is a great platform to promote your products and services but it will not provide you any help with your search engine rankings.

 

For SEO - not that much. For traffic - can be a very good source. Really depends on your business. Generally more visual businesses and brands can take more advantage of it. Also, businesses that aim to certain group, like women and moms for example, as there are tons of boards there that appeal to them. It should be an integral part of your social media strategy should your business fall into those categories

 

You can use Pinterest but don't forget to add Facebook and G+.

The traffic won't help you a lot, as there are mainly people that look pictures.. If they want for example SEO services, they will type it in Google, they won't go to Pinterest

 

Pinterest is very search engine friendly website. It just not only image sharing site it's a best for seo . you can create boards by targeting main keywords. Pinterest it is a great platform to promote your products and services .

I use Pinterest a lot to drive traffic to my niche websites but not sure if it has any seo benefit.

Might be useful for Tier 2 backlinks building or Articles Published online but with Pinterest solely getting ranked is low.

 

Its good like Facebook its good to get lots of Traffic and safe Traffic.
