I not really sure how this works however I'm looking the answers. If I sent up a ping of my blog through ping o matic how do I know where my links are going or if it is infact working for me. I have doen this however i'm having a hard time figuring out where to find my links after pinging them out. I know i'm getting traffic on them but I have no idea if it is good traffic or just some search bot making a pass over them. So it my link goes from ping o matic to technorati.com can I find it on there site? If so where? please help
please explaine that please. There has to be a way to see how and where my site is being pinged to and see it somewhere. If i can not see where my site is being pinged to and see the link then no one esls can also. This doesn't make any since
Install some stats software / script / package for your site and check it out regularly so you know what other sites / pages are referring traffic to yours.
For many sites such as Technorati you first need to register your blog before you will show up in their system, others will automatically add you to their search results. A ping is basically just reminding the other site you have new content, they dont always act on it.
