Pinging

    I can't really understand this, why would a person use tools like "ping 0 URLs and generate 1,000,000 000 back-inks instantly."?

    What possible SEO value would that have at all?

    There is no SEO value for this anymore. This is something what was helpful eight years ago.
    Today it is just spamming and engines will get rid of these spammers more and more - which means bad rankings or no rankings at all :)
