Hello everybody, I heard a term "Pinging" Some where; I also discussed a lot about this in many of the forums but not getting any relevant answer about this. I hope I will get my doubts cleared here. Thanks in advance.
Pinging is the process that notifies about the site updates to blog tracking system.When there is a new update for a specific blog .then, the updates are notified to the pinging service.It is helpful to inform people about the new blog updates.
As by now you know that pinging is a tool to get your articles or site get index faster in the search engines. Also when you do social bookmarking, ping those urls of the networking sites too, so you will have your pages indexed within no time
