Pinging Program or Script

    Does anybody know of a good stand alone program (Windows) or script which I can use to ping my blog when I make new posts? Ideally one which I can set to automatically run everyday or whenever a new post is added to my blog.

    I just learned that when you add several posts to WordPress and use the timestamp to post in the future that it pings when the posts are added not when they are displayed in the future according to the timestamp.

    This is part of wordpress and it should do this for you as a default.

    It is under options, writing, update services.

    I know that. The problem is when you add multiple posts at one time and set the timestamp so your posts will be shown in the future. The posts are all pinged when you add them not in the future according to their timestamps.
