    i have heard of ping or pinging and i have also being to this site call pingomatic.
    please i want to know if pinging my blogs will bring good traffic to my blogs and if it will how do i go about it. please help me
    And i will be very happy if you can give some list of other pinging websites that you have used before that brought you good result

    search from google "IMT Website Submiter"
    this tool will ping your website/blog to +2500 website

    You should look into Ping.fm. It is a good quality site that gives you some real good blogpostings and it is fairly automated. Please check this out. I am using it as a tool in my arsenal of link building for the long haul. Let me know if you need help.

    Pinging is good. Have you ever noticed sites like pingomatic are pinging first to weblogs. If you are using blogger blog then it is automatically pinged to weblogs after every post.

    There are also plugins for Wordpress based sites that will ping a set list automatically when new content is added to the webpage. Another good site I use feedshark.brainbliss.com/

    You might also consider setting up a feedburner account. You can automatically have feedburner ping their select directories every time you make a new post, update a twitter account with your new posts, and monetize your feed with AdSense ads.

    if you are using wordpress then this becomes automatic. but there are certain advantages of pinging ur site.. merely for the core purpose of notifying that you have new blog post/update.

    Pinging blog willl never bring you visitors, pinging will bring search engine spiders which will index your blog so that your blog will be found on search results, always ping own written unique articles... :D
