When using logger or when Wordpress host a blog is you blog automatically pinged when you publish the post?
Why is it better ? What's the difference ? A ping is a Ping, are you saying that the Word Press ping option is no good ?
The wordpress pinging system is horrible. It pings a list of sites set in the options area, however it sends out a ping every time you edit your post, add a new post, etc. It can easily get to the point where your OVER pinging - which most of the ping sites will ban your site as spam for. I'd recommend getting a plugin that limits the pinging, I use one on y blog that only pings once an hours no matter what activity is on the site. you can find it here: http://www.maxblogpress.com/plugins/mpo/
yup. mpo is a good ping optimizer for wordpress. i don't know about blogger. also make sure you have a good list of ping sites.
