Pinging A Blog and Changing Anchor Text ?

    I want to know that is it good to ping a blog once a month or i should ping after 2-3 days ?

    Secondly i want to know that is it good to change anchor text continuously like i have used 1 anchor today and using another after 3 to 4 days for the same URL.

    Pinging your blog should be done regularly appropriately with a 3 days interval, if you continuously change your signature or your anchor text most specially here in the forum it will provide good result.

    Can you tell me dear that what exactly happens by pinging a blog, secondly i should ping the main URL of blog or any post of the blog ?
