Great list! Although I ahve added ping services like this before to my Wordpress pages and it tends to slow it down. You can automatically have your blog pinged wiht a service like BlogBuzzer

Just remember to pickup a plugin that prevents your posts from being repeatedly pinged every time you make changes to it. What people forget is that when you publish your page and then see a mistake and publish again then go back and fix another mistake to publish it again causes your blog to repeatedly ping these sites. Which is not a good thing to do.
