    If it is any sign of the interest in this trend, the domain pingme(dot)com is curently registered by Yahoo! Also heavyweights including Google are catching on to the trend http://searchnetworking.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,,sid7_gci214297,00.html

    Soon everybody will be saying "ping me". There is even a clothing line for this phrase
