    i just had a ping back from a post I made today. followed the link and my post is on this guys blog with a link back to me.

    What do I do, its in my word press waiting for moderation.

    Trackbacks are a method to inform the blog/forum owners that certain post / thread has been cited by another blog. It also gives a link to the referring site.

    So why do i need to approve it in moderation, if some guy wants to take my post and link back to me thats great.
