Pincone research is a good company, and it is VERY difficult to find the banner to sign up (that is the only way). There is a site that automatically forwards you to the pincone research banners... If you can't see the banner, refresh your browser a few times. People often pay money to find the location of these banners on ebay and such. In order to sign up for their program, you must find one of their banners. Basically, it is an easy way to make money. People often sell the location of the banners for 5 dollars or so on ebay. Once you sign up with pinecone, they send you 10 minute surveys and pay 3-5 dollars for each one. Here is a picture of the current banner location:
PineCone is a very reputable paid survey company. I have been involved with them for years. They always pay really quick. Normally you cannot join this company unless you receive a special invitation and sometimes they place special banners which only appear for a limited time. What the OP says about it being difficult to become a member is correct. I dont know if they have started a new way to get new members or what
They have not changed their methods of recruiting, but sites like www.pineconebanners.com are making it easier for people to sign up.
