    What do you think of this "strategy"?

    Microsoft is giving away free hosting in an Office Live basic account. So, you in turn tell people to signup with you (an email collection page) and in return you'll let them in on an exclusive free hosting offer.

    I got an offer just like that in my inbox this morning... it's funny yet disturbing that they passed this off as their own offer.
