What pictures do you use in your blog and how do you go about getting it? Do you use your own stuff, buy if off a site like Istock or just go into Google images and try it then?
You can do searches for creative commons licences with certain images, sometimes you can grab photos from flickr is they have a CC license and then ask the owner still if you can use them or how you plan to use them. I guess you could buy yourself a batch of pics from the stock photo sites wihout spending too much, but there are sites where you can use an image for free and just attribute the owner. So you could use: flickr stock photo sites paid stock photo sites free search in google/yahoo advanced features for creative commons licensed images.
I get most of my photo's from flicker 2. If you do an advanced search you can specify cc licensed photos. If you need more here are 2 free photo sites, that I recommend: http://www.sxc.hu/index.phtml http://search.creativecommons.org/
Thanks very much for that! I've just started in the blogging world, so all help is much appreciated Gareth
On my travel blog I use my own images, of course On my learn to earn blog, I've just started using stock images from Yahoo after someone suggested images would help the appearance of my site
I mostly use my own images, anyway my primary content is not based on images and images only actually supports my primary content.. Know what I mean lol
depending on what the topics are the Associated Press has some really good free images, as well as Yahoo! News. I don't know if this will help, I guess it depends on your niche, but figured I would throw it out there anyways.
