Picture vs text on landing page

My landing page is a catalog that is hosted by the catalog company. I have an editable region on this page, most users just type in info about hyping the products. I want to do the same thing but use photoshop and create a better eye appealing ad. That way I can just drop the jpg in place on the landing page. Will I lose quality because google can't see actual text of relevant words? I could name the jpg a string of keywords possibly.
    Please give me any input.
    Thanks!

When observing your landing page during quality score calculation, Google looks at a number of things, the most important of which are your landing page's overall quality, the amount of content it displays, and the relevance of the content to your Adwords ads and keywords. If I were you, I would include some very, very relevant text in place of your Photoshop image.
