Picture submission, sueing:

    Hello,

    I own a website in which visitors submit pictures. If I mention in the submission form "send no copyrighted pics", can they still sue, asuming they wish to pretend I'm using their pics without authorization? Will the win the case?

    The short answer, is yes, you can still be sued for hosting copyrighted material without permission, even if you aren't the one who put it there.

    At the least, you should read up on the DMCA safe harbor provisions, which require more than just putting a notice on your submission form:
