Would you put text or image ads up on a car blog?

My blog is TurboAddict.com featuring turbo'd cars and I was wondering if image or text ads would work better.

Basically, which type of ads would have a better CTR for a car blog? :D

Im not sure about that, but dude, why don't you allow comments on your blog? was going to put a comment.

I like your volgswagen turbo post btw!! I have a Jetta TDI 2001 or 2003 (cant remember) its a turbo diesel with no modifications on it except my mom burned the engine by mistake and the engine is still a 90hp one like the original. In your post however you describe all kinds of engine modifications that bring it up to 300 something horsepower. Perhaps its original engine has more hp than mine, but of how much can I increase my hp u think with air intakes n other stuff??
    thx

    Hey

Yeah I'm figuring out how to stop all the spam comments. I used to allow comments like a month ago, but after I got Pr2, my ranking for keywords jumped and I got 938 spam messages in one day.

Any suggestions on how to control spammed comments? Should I just moderate them and only let the legit ones go through? Is there an easier process or system?

For modifications, it all depends on what type of parts you are going to use and how you tune them into your engine. EBay special intake really won't do too much for you; however, if you go for an upgraded turbo, you could see numbers hit way over 180 horsepower if tuned correctly. With a quality exhaust, intake, and some internal modifications you could easily hit 200hp, but if you do a full rebuild upgrading everything, you could probably hit 250+hp, depending on how much you plan to spend on it.

Just stinks how low of a horsepower level it begins at. If you really want to tune a VW Jetta, I'd look at the 1.8T that starts at 180hp or even the GLI which comes with 200hp. These cars just give you the opportunity to start with more HP and work up to way higher horsepower levels than the turbo diesels tend to reach.

thanks for the tip. 90hp diesel isint that bad, a diesel engine has a lot of torque, believe it or not but I reached 170 km/hour with that engine!!. Im not much into spending on car right now so u say air cooler should improve hp eh? thx for the tips... and btw check out my reply on your runescape post!

Yeah man, I don't know much about diesels, but bolt on's always improve with airflow, exhaust flow, and efficiency for the engine. Thanks for the comment on my post, too. Your the first to comment on any of those posts even though i have 31 and they get around 6k unique visits a month total and growing every month, haha.

But yeah, they have a new thing called Bounty Hunter on the game and they made it very close to what wild used to be and the drops are good too. You should check it out if you ever get bored. I just play still so I can be a writer for that site Bright Hub, and when I get bored. :)
