Pics near Ads

I have some pics near ads, and the CTR has jumped to 9%.
But my earnings also increased.
Do you need a border near the ads or something? how do you make it legal?

image near ads is ok as long as it doesn't trick or manipulate user into clicking your ads. To make sure you should ask google adsense support to review your sites/pages that you consider will hurt your google account.

 

No they are not! Images next to ads are BAD... images behind the ads as a background are GOOD according to Google.

 

Bad for Google or for us ? Cause one of my websites is approved using image near ads, they said it is still comply with Google TOS.

According to the Google AdSense blog (and where I posted about it on adClustr) they mention that images next to ads are a no-no. When did they approve your ads? - because they made a change to their TOS around December 18th.
