I don't know if anyone has ever tried this.

Copying the link location from your adsense ads and advertising it anywhere. Is this allowed? Is this effective?

I'm pretty sure that's against the rules.

If it wasn't, though, I'm sure I could make a ton of money that way.

I don't think the code is always the same.

I am not sure I understand what you are saying. Do you mean pasting your AdSense code as an ad on other Websites?

    Ah, Ok.

You should email and ask them - that is a good question, but I don't have the answer for it.

Just curious, too - how would you get the code?

Right click > Copy Link. Probably the easiest way to get caught in trying to get clicks #1 plus like I said, the code probably isn't the same. Should change on each reload/some times.

Oh, Ok - I see now. I would tend to think, too, that you would get in trouble for this, but it would still be nice to hear Google's official rule.

However, something just occurred to me - if that advertiser stops that campaign, the link would just go nowhere (or so I would assume). From a technology standpoint (regardless of what the rules say) this would mean it could not be done.

Ok, since all opinions are the same... I assume it is not allowed.
    Thanks for comments.
