PicForum.net, 1YR. Old, PR4, 1211 Uniques & 10,735 Pageviews Last Month

Bought the site a while back and hadn't done anything with it. I had not even bought the license to vBulletin as it did not come with the site when I bought it. There are ton of great pictures already and just need someone to take it to the next level.

User registration has been turned off for about 2 months. Still, a lot of visitors to the forum viewing the pictures.

The next owner can build upon what's already there or turn it into something else, like a travel forum.

Majority of the pictures are hosted at photobucket for free just as long as you keep the linkback to their site on the bottom right corner of the site. This was pre-arranged by the previous owner of the site.

vBulletin license is NOT included with the sale, so you must purchase your own license if you intend on keeping it a forum. I believe it costs $160 for the owned license, but you could also lease it for a less.

Site was established in Sept. of 2006. Domain name is registered at namecheap.com and is valid until 5/7/08.

I have never sold any links, placed affiliate programs or Adsense on the site whatsover. Anything that you see that resembles advertising on the site was already there when I bought the site and was too lazy to change it out. Honestly, I don't even want to know what I could have been making. Probably not a lot, but at least a few bucks a month with the amount of pageviews the site has.

As you can see, the uniques may not be that high, but the pageviews is decent.

The site has not been advertised at all, so all traffic is natural.

Yes, this site is still for sale and the current bids are nowhere near my reserve price, so sorry payoutwindow, you are not the winner.

New BIN price set to $250. Auction ends Nov. 15th. Reserve price still in effect and I may or may not reveal what that is. Bottom line, I'll keep the site if I don't get any offers that suit my fancy.

 

What is the server cost to handle this forum? (we need these informations since we bid for this site based on no revenue income). Revealing the reserve it might fasten the process of this auction and make a reasonable bid.

To address the question about server costs, I assume you are concerned with the bandwidth. No worries as the highest it has ever been is 856 megs. As far as space needed, it currently only needs 42 megs. As I said in my original post, most content is hosted on PhotoBucket for free. Therefore, any $5-$10 a month hosting package will serve you well.

I'll set a reserve of $200.

Alvin, thanks for the update. It seems that you are correct and I concur. Realize that I posted this on Oct. 22nd and back then it was a PR4, just in case anyone was skeptical.

Update: Unique visitors as of today is 1238 for this month.
