I was going through Google news and I stumbled upon an interesting piece of information. It seems that Picasa has witnessed a major boost in traffic. The number of visitors visiting Picasa has shot up dramatically. Picasa needs no introduction. It allows users to organize and share photos online. It is way ahead of its competitors as per statistics from Hitwise. In fact, it witnessed a whopping 5000% increase in visits from the UK sites. Isn’t that amazing? I am tempted to boost traffic to my site now. What should I do to attract more traffic? Please help!
I can not understand what you are asking exactly. Is your question is a general "How to get traffic to my website question" or do you mean getting traffic using popularity of Picasa? If you mean the former, you really need to read more than you write. there are literally 10000+ of posts about how to get traffic tactics. and if you mean the latter, I do not have an answer, In fact I would like to hear is you have some idea, because I do not think that there may exist any such thing. Picasa provides FREE photo uploads and sharing. Make a site and software similar to them and you will automatically see more traffic ;-) Picasa had traffic even when Google had not acquired them.
