I remember using surrogafier and it burned the heck out of resources...the only problem is I forgot what surrogafier uses up a lot of (that PHproxy used a standard amount of)

Is it bandwidth? CPU? or memory?

I need to know this so I can make a good choice when I get my servers and rackspace

I think it was CPU, but don't quote me on that :)

I think it would be much likely that it used a lot of CPU.

All proxy script use much CPU in various level

I do believe CGI script uses the most CPU (much less bandwidth though)

but on another side, it makes the awstats logs long and tak time to load since it will record every url visited through it into awstats logs (at least the last time i used it)

I think phproxy is the most balanced solution so far
