phproxy not working with faceBook?

    Ive noticed alot of proxy sites that run on phproxy cannot access facebook or allow facebook to function.

    Is there any solution for this?

    The phproxy site is not very clear on this.
    you need OpenSSL module installed for it to work.

    And even then it does not always seem to work properly. So rather than looking like they have a broken site some proxies simply prevent https sites.
