    Just tried logging into MySpace using many PHProxy websites.

    None work anymore.

    Anybody has news on it?

    Update - Even CGI Proxy does not work with MySpace anymore.

    As for Zelune, when you try to log in, it takes you to the normal NON-Proxified myspace page.

    Even the one with the GEO IP script (which costs $60) is not working.

    So I conclude that MySpace has changed its whole code in order to disallow proxies from accessing it.

    There is a fix for this issue.

    I believe there is a thread on proxy.org on the issue.

    Even though the fix is there. Its not a complete one, ie. it doesn't add full compatibility.

    I heard myspace is updating something, so I expect these scripts to be workin' once the update is done.

    It seems the only proxy script that will work with myspace is cgi-proxy with this patch from proxy.org
    " Because of the helpful suggestions I've gotten here working on the problem, I'll share my fix.

    If you're interested in a quick and dirty fix for myspace on cgi proxy, here's mine:
    Code:

    if ($URL =~ m#myspace\.com#)
    {
    $body =~ s#<form.{0,200}?name="aspnetForm".{0,200}?>#<form name="aspnetForm" method="post" action="http://secure.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=login.process" id="aspnetForm">#gs;
    }

    Put this immediately before this bit of code in cgi proxy:
    Code:

    $body= &proxify_html(\$body, 1) ;

    "

    Tons of peoples proxies stopped working with MySpace a few weeks ago... mine included. Do you have javascript turned off?

    Does posting comments, bulletins and messages work?

    obviously myspace dont want you to view their site through a proxy. there must be a good reason for this.
    So I wouldnt do it if youdont want to get banned

    I tried three proxies from the link in your sig. One worked, but wouldn't post comments. Kept refreshing to the comment form. One forwarded back to the main proxy page for any url I put in and one kept refreshing to the myspace login page on every login attempt without logging in.

    Im not to worried myspace has stopped working with proxies a few times before when they change something on their site. Myspace isnt going to ban proxies because that would take a huge chunk out of their pageviews and revenue.

    Login worked for me on yours, but try posting a bulletin, comment or a message and see how it works for you.
    Messages breaks out of the proxy and goes directly to MySpace. Bulletin breaks out of proxy and goes directly to MySpace.

    With js off, the pages never post only refresh.

    If somebody can find a stock PHProxy 0.5b2 that works to login to myspace, post bulletins, messages and comments without breaking out of the proxy and going directly to myspace, or just refreshing to the same page let me know. So far I haven't found one fully working out of all the claims theirs is working. I'd be willing to put $25 on the first completely working stock PHProxy v0.5b2 that is submitted to this thread.
