PHProxy has been discontinued... What script to go with next? There's surrogafier, zelune and cgi proxy... which one should we go with?

For me at the moment PHProxy does everything it needs to. In the future if it becomes too outdated I am thinking of moving to CGI proxy.

    What's left to 'develop'?
It still works & is so easy to use; why not keep using PHProxy the way it is?

Why did development stop? Do you know why?

There will not be any patches/updates... I'm actually looking for one of those proxies to integrate native SSL support and support for Flash objects.

From the post on their web site, I have a feeling a larger company may have purchased it, but I'm just speculating.

The rights have been released into the public domain.

Sounds to me like whatever political/religious regime he was living under (which was probably the reason he created it in the first place) has caught up with him....

    (the bottom bit was translated)

Sounds likes he’s trying to stay out of jail.
