PHPMyAdmin problem, IE says "Action canceled - Internet Explorer was unable to link..

    Whenever I try to make an operation like modify, insert from PHPMyAdmin panel, the new IE screen says "Action canceled - Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable",

    but it everytime completes the operation. I mean even the next screen shows this notification,
    it successfully insert or modify the data.
    What can cause the problem?

    OS: Linux / Redhat..mysql 4.1.21 standard, phpMyAdmin - 2.9.0.2

    I have maybe a similar problem. About half the time, when I do anything with phpMyAdmin, it seems to pull up two requests in a row, like a hiccup, and the final screen simply says "The page cannot be displayed" in MSIE 6.0.

    Just like you described, it completes the action even though it throws this apparant error. But it throws this error quite often and more than half the time, it makes it impossible for me to run a SQL command or search a table and see the result. I'd love to know what the problem is. Anyone?

    ETA: phpMyAdmin 2.9.0.2, mysql 4.1.10, Linux
