Phpmyadmin login?

    What is the Phpmyadmin login?
    Is it the same as main cpanel login, or something else and if so where can I find it?

    MYSQL username and password are the login credential for the phpmyadmin. You can create mysql databases and users from the cPanel.

    I was told the only way to access/edit phpmyadmin is through the main cpanel login. Is that so?

    On cPanel server, you will get PHPMyAdmin link from your cPanel. You do not require to enter username and password to login if you are a;ready logged in to your cPanel.
