how do you create a database in phpmyadmin sorry for the noob question

I have one database now and would want to create a new one
Firs i want to know i have wp and vbulletin in one database and i want to move worldpress to a different database that i gonna create in the phpmyadmin

I'd recommend starting php my admin first. Then you can use phpmyadmin from your wp and vbulletin to export those databases. Then you can go to phpmyadmin to import them, you'll see the links along the top menu.

 

yes but how you create the database because the only option my host has is to create database through phpmyadmin.

 

True, if you are hosted on a shared hosting, you are not granted with pemirssions to create a database, unless your host provide you with Plesk or Ensim Panels to do so.

If your host has cPanel, then the databases are created via this control panel and not directly through phpMyAdmin.

In either case, you need to have privileges to do so, in example, if your hosting says that you are allowed to 0 databases, then you can do nothing whichever the control panel you are using.
