phpmyadmin glitch

Has anyone else been getting the following glitch on phpmyadmin?

I have reseller hosting for several of my sites and when I load up phpmyadmin I can see the full list of databases on the server including all the other users who have hosting on the server. I thought this might have been an error until I loaded up phpmyadmin on a completely different server to find the same thing.

You can only actually access your own databases and next to the other databases it shows up with (-) next to the database name.

I'm thinking that maybe it's just supposed to look like that now!

I have been getting this but the strange thing is that it's not on my main account. It's on only one of 5 accounts under the main account. I am able too see over 100 database names but only access the one my 1 account.

It depends on how the MySQL server is setup. Probably your user account has the global SHOW DATABASES privilege. Without it, it will only show databases that you have some sort of privilege for.

But why would the host providers want people to see everyone elses database names?
