PHPList - How to Install this Free Mass Mailer???

Hello,

I have uploaded all the neccessary files
to my domain (rootdomain.com/phplist)

But whenever I want to begin the installation
an error message occurs.

Thats the error log message:
/public_html/phplist/lists/.htaccess: Invalid command 'php_flag', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Try to delete the line and see what happens. You can always put it back in if needed
