phpld3.3 500 Internal Server Error When Installing

    I have uploaded all the files/folders to public_html and change the permissions to 755(hostgator) and when i try to access the home dir or the install url it leads to a 500 Internal Server Error page.

    Can anyone of you help me out? Iam using the default htaccess file given with the installation file

    Edit : Its fixed as it was a error with the permissions of directories from hostgator's end and they fixed it within 2 mins.
